Although his fame is now international, it is impossible for me not to talk about Jean-Yves Bordier and his butter! and what a butter! Mr. Bordier is a cheesemonger refiner and butter maker.
The butter is churned and shaped according to old traditional methods that he wished to keep. The result is a beautiful golden brown butter, full of fragrances and flavors!

 

A MUST-TRY:
It exists today an entire declination around his butter, Jean-Yves Bordier created seaweed butteryuzu butter, another one with the vanilla from Madagascar. But I really fall for the churned butter with Espelette pepper.
A small slice of baguette, add the Espelette pepper butter on it and half of an aromatic cherry tomato, that’s it! happiness is just there
